GLP-1 weight loss
GLP-1 medication is sold through telehealth in two forms. A pharmacy compounds one to a prescriber's order. A manufacturer makes the other and the FDA has approved it. The price gap between them is large, and so is the difference in what you are buying. Prices below are the continuing monthly rate wherever a company publishes one.
Compare by treatment
How to compare a GLP-1 program
Start with the price in month four. Almost every company on this site advertises something other than its continuing rate. Some show a first month. Some show what a year of prepayment averages out to. Found Health opens at $99 and settles at $289, which is the widest gap here.
Then check whether the medication is in the price. Brand-name programs split into two kinds. Sesame Care sells you the appointment for $349 and the pharmacy bills for the drug. GobyMeds quotes $1,695 with the drug included. Putting those two numbers side by side without reading the terms will send you to the wrong company.
Dose matters more than most comparison pages admit. GLP-1 treatment starts low and titrates up over months. A company can advertise a cheap starting dose and charge more at every step. Ask what happens to your bill when the dose increases, and ask before you pay for a plan that runs longer than a month.
Compounded and brand-name are different products. A pharmacy mixes compounded semaglutide to a prescriber's order, and the FDA has not approved it as a drug product. Wegovy and Ozempic are approved and made by Novo Nordisk. The price gap between them runs to more than ten times on this site.
Last, check the state list. Sprout Health does not prescribe GLP-1 in five states. TelePep does not operate in two. A cheap program you cannot legally use is not a cheap program.
